Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Hybrid, Finance & Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting functions while supporting operational initiatives and process improvements. This is a great opportunity for an accounting or finance professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and having a direct impact on the mission-driven non-profit organization in Asheville, North Carolina. What you'll do:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliationsAssist with payroll processing and related accountingTrack and properly allocate expenses and revenue to grants and funding sourcesSupport the annual audit process, including preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to requestsAssist with month-end close and financial reporting as neededMonitor purchasing and organizational expensesDevelop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve consistency and efficiencyIdentify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and overall operational efficiencyPartner with leadership and staff across the organization on financial and operational initiativesTake ownership of special projects and other responsibilities as needed
