Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of cost accounting and general accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, product costing, and variance analysis in compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirements. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing performance through cost analysis, inventory management, make-versus-buy evaluations, cost modeling, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost reduction. Support business planning and decision-making by leading budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, profitability analysis, business risk assessments, and capital investment evaluations, including ROI and NPV analyses. Serve as a key financial systems leader by optimizing ERP, reporting, and business intelligence tools, driving process automation, improving data integrity, standardizing processes, and enhancing financial reporting capabilities. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner closely with business leaders to communicate financial results, performance drivers, and strategic recommendations that support organizational objectives. Support internal and external audit activities and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information to divisional leadership and corporate stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7-10 years experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment Experience working within ERP environment
