Job Description

Position Summary Standard Iron has been a leader in contract manufacturing for over 90 years, delivering quality products and innovative solutions to customers across a variety of industries. In this role, you will prepare, apply, and inspect powder coat finishes on metal components to ensure high-quality, durable results that meet customer specifications. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in craftsmanship while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Compensation & Schedule Pay Range:

https://go.cultureindex.com/p/VZ3su7sagyMobH Key Responsibilities Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and racking. Apply powder coating using manual and/or automated spray systems. Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality to meet specifications. Perform color changes and maintain proper powder inventory control. Operate curing ovens and verify proper cure times and temperatures. Inspect finished parts for defects and perform touch-ups as needed. Maintain powder coating equipment and work area in a clean, organized condition. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of materials. Qualifications Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred. Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application techniques. Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move parts as required. (60 lbs.) What You Bring Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
