This role acts as the primary regional expert on state Medicaid guidelines, ensuring timely approvals, minimizing financial risk, and training facility-level Medicaid Financial Coordinators. Manage the end-to-end Medicaid application, renewal, and redetermination for residents across SNF locations. Track Medicaid pending accounts and aging balances Ensure strict adherence to state Medicaid regulations, payer timelines, and corporate financial policies. Serve as the primary regional liaison between the organization, resident families, and state/county Medicaid case workers to resolve delayed cases. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate facility-level Medicaid Coordinators within the region Conduct ongoing training and education regarding changing Medicaid policies, and electronic record
