Role Description This is a full-time role for a Hotel Analyst at our headquarters in Solon, OH. We're seeking an entry-level Hotel Analyst to support our select-service hotel portfolio and ownership with weekly and monthly performance reporting and analysis across our portfolio. This role owns recurring KPI reporting, reviews STR and BI outputs, identifies performance trends and variances, and helps support forecasting/budgeting and ad hoc projects. Ideal for a detail-oriented, analytically strong candidate looking to build a career in hospitality finance/analytics. Build and deliver monthly reporting packages with variance analysis vs. budget/forecast/prior year. Review STR reports and summarize
MPI/ARI/RGI
trends, comp set position, and market insights. Maintain and improve BI dashboards and standardized reporting templates; ensure data accuracy across systems. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles (templates, assumptions checks, scenario analysis). Partner with GMs, revenue, and accounting to validate drivers, track follow-ups, and support decisions. Produce concise executive summaries and respond to ad hoc analysis requests as needed. Conduct market-level research on hotel performance, supply pipeline, demand drivers, and competitive sets. Monitor macroeconomic and real estate capital markets trends relevant to the hospitality sector. Prepare benchmarking and industry analysis for internal strategy discussions and external communications Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or Hospitality (or equivalent). 2 years' experience in analytics, finance, FP&A, real estate, or hospitality. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFS; comfort working with large datasets). Experience with or willingness to learn BI tools (e.g., Power BI or similar). Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented; strong written communication. Familiarity with hotel KPIs and P&Ls (GOP, flow-through, labor ratios). Exposure to STR or hotel revenue management concepts. Basic SQL or data querying experience. Join us to build your career at the intersection of hospitality and analytics.
