Job Description
Accounting Manager Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to provide hands-on financial leadership within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to balance detailed accounting responsibilities with broader financial planning and business partnership. This role is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon. Accounting Manager Responsibilities Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, overhead allocation, and product profitability reporting. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance reporting to support informed business decisions. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to strengthen inventory accuracy, cost visibility, manufacturing performance, and working capital management. Oversee key financial controls and processes, including cash management, A/R, A/P, compliance, audit support, KPI reporting, and finance process improvements. Accounting Manager Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 8-10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or project-based environments. Significant experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, month-end close management, and financial statement preparation. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, cash and working capital management, and transactional flows within ERP systems. Highly analytical with strong communication skills and the ability to proactively collaborate with finance, operations, supply chain, and organizational leadership.
