Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lending Manager to lead our lending operations and drive exceptional financial services for our clients. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire loan process, from origination to servicing, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Lead and manage the lending function, providing guidance on loan underwriting, origination, processing, and servicing activities Oversee loan application review, ensuring thorough analysis of borrower creditworthiness, collateral, and risk factors Ensure compliance with all banking regulations including TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Lending, and other industry standards as well as internal policies and procedures Develop and implement or enhance lending policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy Conduct detailed financial analysis using Excel data analysis techniques to evaluate loan performance and risk profiles Maintain strong client communication throughout the loan lifecycle, addressing inquiries and providing expert advice on mortgage and construction lending options Collaborate with various internal and external partners on loan contracts, legal documentation, closing process and booking on system Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices in lending operations Requirements Proven experience in loan underwriting, origination, or mortgage services with a focus on lending processes Strong knowledge of financial services regulations including TILA, Fair Lending and banking compliance standards Demonstrated leadership skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with financial software is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients Experience in loan processing, underwriting, risk assessment, and credit analysis within a banking or financial institution Basic math skills including 10 key typing for efficient data entry and calculations Industry knowledge of financial regulations affecting mortgage and commercial lending environments Ability to analyze industry trends related to lending products to enable strategic decisions
