Manheim Area Water & Sewer Authority (MAWSA) is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to serve within a collaborative administrative office. Like many small municipal authorities, this role includes primary responsibility for accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, audits, investments, and debt management, while also supporting key administrative functions such as benefits administration, procurement, and board reporting. The Finance & Accounting Manager will bring a thoughtful, steady approach to a diverse range of responsibilities that are essential to the Authority's success. Finance & Accounting Manager position qualifications:
- Associate degree or coursework in business administration, accounting, finance, or related fields; preferred; Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles, required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, payroll, office administration, or related administrative support roles
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite; essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; essential
