full-time We are looking for a Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a great opportunity for a global-minded accounting professional to own the close and reporting process for a multinational organization, with real influence over how the Executive team makes decisions, in a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH. Responsibilities Own the company's financial close process and all required reporting deliverables Manage the monthly closing and financial reporting process Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for the global organization Complete financial analysis of business unit performance and trends, including preparation of the monthly financial review package and other ad hoc reports Build continuous improvement and lean initiatives into the financial function Deliver timely analysis and reporting to support crisp, informed decision-making at the Executive level Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across global operations Maintain oversight and ownership of assigned key processes and related controls Take on ad hoc duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred 4+ years of accounting experience Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP Experience implementing best practices and strategic initiatives through business unit controllers Excellent written and verbal communication skills What Our Client Offers Direct visibility into Executive-level decision-making through the monthly review package and financial analysis Global scope, exposure to consolidated reporting and cross-border accounting policy alignment Hybrid schedule based in Cleveland, OH Room to drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives rather than just execute existing processes Collaboration with business unit controllers on strategic, company-wide initiatives
