Accounting Manager

We're seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee general ledger operations, indirect cost reconciliations, and revenue accounting. This role reports to senior accounting leadership, manages a small team, and plays a key part in month-end close and audit readiness. It's a hands-on position requiring strong system usage, attention to detail, and the ability to guide staff on accounting processes and internal controls. What You'll Do Supervise and support a team of accounting professionals across general ledger, cost, and revenue functions Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries Oversee indirect cost reconciliations and ensure accurate allocation methodologies Record and review revenue transactions across various contract or project types Maintain documentation for internal controls and audit support Identify and resolve system or process issues; partner with internal teams as needed Review team output for accuracy and compliance; provide coaching and development Assist with audits and internal control assessments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, with strong general ledger expertise Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Experience working with accounting systems (ERP experience preferred) Knowledge of cost accounting, revenue recognition, and compliance frameworks Strong leadership and communication skills

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
