Accounting Manager Join a well-established organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join its experienced accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a hands-on role, wants to take on broader responsibility, and is interested in long-term growth with a stable company. The ideal candidate will bring a strong general accounting background, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both accounting and operational leadership. This position is onsite in the Mechanicsburg area and offers a supportive team environment, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for continued growth.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close Previous leadership experience or the ability to step into a supervisory role Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional accounting environment is a plus

Main Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting activities for assigned areas of the business Manage general ledger activity, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and related accounting functions Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes Work closely with the Controller, operational leadership, and other members of the accounting team Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues Supervise and support accounting staff responsible for day-to-day transactional functions Ensure accounting processes follow established company policies and procedures
