Interim Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Our client, a global technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across several corporate functions. This role is hybrid in the San Francisco Peninsula area, with in-office attendance required approximately 13 days per month. This role has an initial duration of approximately six months, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance financial models that track functional costs and their impact on overall business performance Partner with corporate and commercial leaders to manage budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, reporting, and financial analyses Support quarterly and annual planning processes and help improve forecast accuracy Prepare executive-level reporting materials that summarize financial results, key findings, risks, and recommendations Maintain financial planning systems and identify opportunities to improve reporting and analytical capabilities Partner with Accounting on month-end close activities and related process improvements Support periodic external reporting and earnings-related preparation activities Improve financial processes, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects for senior leadership and cross-functional business teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 3 to 6 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, operational reporting, or a related corporate finance function Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis skills Advanced Excel and data-analysis capabilities, with experience using enterprise planning and ERP systems Strong communication, organization, and business-partnering skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
