Job Description

Evergreen Medical Center, a 44-bed rural hospital serving South Alabama, is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our billing, coding, collections, and patient access operations. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to hospital administration, responsible for optimizing cash flow, reducing denials, and ensuring compliance across the full revenue cycle. What You'll Do Oversee all revenue cycle functions: patient access, charge capture, coding, billing, collections, and denial management Monitor key metrics (days in A/R, denial rates, net collection rate) and drive continuous improvement Manage relationships with payers, clearinghouses, and third-party billing vendors Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and payer billing regulations Lead, train, and develop the revenue cycle team Partner with finance and administration on budgeting and financial reporting related to revenue performance Serve as the hospital's subject matter expert on the CPSI/TruBridge platform Requirements Minimum 10 years of revenue cycle experience in a hospital setting (required) Hands-on experience with CPSI/TruBridge systems (required) Strong knowledge of hospital billing, coding (ICD-10/CPT), and payer requirements, including Medicare/Medicaid Proven track record improving A/R days, denial rates, and collections Experience in a rural or critical access hospital environment a plus Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills Why Evergreen Medical Center Join a mission-drive rural hospital committed to keeping quality healthcare accessible in our community, with the opportunity to make a direct, visible impact on hospital operations and financial health.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $60,439.80 per year
