RCM Applications Lead Revenue Cycle Management Applications Lead 100% Remote | Candidates Can Live Anywhere in the U.S. Full-Time | Monday-Friday Typically 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Arizona Time $120,000-$160,000 Annual Salary | Based on Experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced RCM Applications Lead to oversee revenue cycle system configuration, optimization, revenue integrity, and assigned RCM configuration staff. This role serves as the RCM subject matter expert across payer configuration, fee schedules, billing logic, claims workflows, EDI, billing edits, and revenue cycle reporting. The position works closely with EHR Application Development, Data & Analytics, Finance, Billing, and Operations to translate business and billing requirements into system specifications, testing strategies, and effective configuration solutions. This is a high-impact role, as RCM system configuration directly affects billing accuracy, claims, reimbursement, revenue integrity, cash flow, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and optimization of RCM system configuration, including payer setup, fee schedules, billing logic, claims workflows, EDI, and billing edits Evaluate payer requirements, operational workflows, and system configuration to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement Identify potential revenue leakage and revenue integrity risks and recommend practical configuration solutions Translate business, billing, and payer requirements into technical specifications and testing scenarios Define and execute testing/validation for billing-related system changes prior to production deployment Support resolution of complex billing, payer, claims, and configuration issues Partner with EHR, Data & Analytics, Finance, Billing, Operations, and leadership teams Support RCM reporting and interpretation of billing and financial data Provide direct day-to-day supervision, direction, and coaching to the RCM Configuration/EDI Analyst Review configuration work, testing results, and documentation for accuracy and completeness Provide input regarding staff performance, development, workload, and process improvement What This Role Is — and Isn't This position focuses specifically on RCM applications, configuration, revenue integrity, and system optimization.

Overall EHR administration Enterprise application administration EHR vendor relationships System releases or patches Overall EHR platform lifecycle The RCM Applications Lead partners with the appropriate technical teams while maintaining responsibility for the RCM configuration function. You should be comfortable working with EHR configuration, payer logic, claims workflows, EDI, revenue integrity, testing, reporting, and cross-functional technology teams, while also providing leadership to RCM configuration staff.
