Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our revenue cycle operations and ensure the financial health of our healthcare organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of medical billing, insurance claims processing, and revenue collection, driving efficiency and compliance across the entire revenue cycle. Your expertise will help optimize cash flow, improve billing accuracy, and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations. Duties Lead and manage the revenue cycle process, including billing, coding, and accounts receivable Oversee medical billing processes, ensuring accurate coding (ICD coding), claim submission, and follow-up for timely reimbursement Ensure compliance with all medical billing regulations including Medicaid, Medicare, and other health insurance guidelines Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to practice revenue cycle management to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with executive leadership to optimize electronic health records (EHR) management and streamline billing workflows Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare billing management practices, insurance third-party billing procedures, and relevant regulations Implement best practices in healthcare billing management to maximize revenue collection while minimizing denials and delays Conduct regular audits of billing processes to ensure adherence to medical coding standards and regulatory requirements Experience Proven experience in medical office revenue cycle management or healthcare billing management with a strong understanding of medical coding (ICD coding) and insurance processes Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team management skills and strategic planning Extensive knowledge of healthcare billing regulations including Medicare regulations, Medicaid regulations, and other government programs Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis purposes Experience working with billing software systems and electronic health records (EHR) management tools Strong understanding of health insurance policies, third-party payer requirements, and hospital revenue cycle workflows Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws Join us as a Revenue Cycle Manager to drive operational excellence in healthcare billing while fostering a collaborative environment that values innovation, accuracy, and compliance.
