Who We're Looking For We are looking for an Accounting & Administration Manager who is, first and foremost, a strong accountant. This role is grounded in accounting and financial management — the right candidate brings deep accounting expertise and takes on HR compliance and administrative oversight as a secondary responsibility. Beyond the technical chops, you're someone people genuinely enjoy working with. You're approachable, collaborative, and naturally curious about how the business runs. You don't wait to be asked — you look for ways to bring useful data and financial visibility to the people who need it, whether that's a department head trying to manage costs or leadership planning for the year ahead. You're comfortable leading a small team while still being in the weeds yourself, and you bring an ownership mentality to everything you touch. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Management Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with proper backup. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial data and variance analysis. Partner with operations to maintain inventory accuracy and proper costing of materials and finished goods. Manage cash flow and banking relationships. Provide analytical insights to business leaders to inform company priorities Administration Management Supervise day-to-day office administration and ensure efficient support processes. Implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and recordkeeping. Oversee vendor relationships related to office administration, benefits, and insurance. Support leadership with reporting and special projects as needed. HR & Payroll Supervise payroll processing and related tax filings. Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and personnel files. Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Serve as a resource for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and policies. Assist with recruitment and hiring coordination as needed. Leadership & Collaboration Supervise 2-3 team members in accounting/administration. Partner with the President, sales, HR, and operations teams to ensure accurate information flow across the company. Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Business Administration considered with strong accounting experience (CPA or CMA is a plus). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility; HR or administrative exposure is a plus but not a substitute for accounting depth. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices. Experience managing benefits administration and HR compliance. Skilled in Excel and ERP/accounting systems. Strong organizational and communication skills; able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
