  • What You'll Own Full operational leadership of patient financial services: billing, collections, cash posting, and patient access Partner cross-functionally with HIM, Case Management, IT, and clinical departments to tighten billing accuracy and speed up receivables Build and run a quality assurance program to keep billing accurate, compliant, and audit-ready Own departmental budgeting and drive performance to plan Serve as the organization's subject-matter expert on billing compliance, CMS regulations, and payer requirements (Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, commercial) Design and track the KPIs that matter — A/R aging, collection rates, payer mix, denials, appeal success, bad debt — and report results to leadership Identify and fix revenue leakage across charge capture, coding, and reimbursement Lead insurance verification, coding review, and payment posting process improvements Manage and, where needed, renegotiate managed care payer relationships and contracts Run a standing revenue cycle strategy meeting to keep the department aligned and moving What You Bring Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, accounting, finance, or a related field 5-7 years in a management-level revenue cycle role, with strong billing and collections expertise Deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing and compliance requirements Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Sharp analytical and problem-solving instincts A bit about us:•A well-established, high-volume healthcare organization is looking for a Revenue Cycle Leader to take ownership of the entire patient financial services function: billing, collections, cash posting, and patient access, and drive real performance across the department.
