Duties Oversee the entire loan closing process, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with federal and state regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure), and Fair Housing laws Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, escrow officers, and clients to facilitate timely closings Review loan documentation including FNMA (Fannie Mae), FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs), and conventional mortgage loans to verify compliance with lending guidelines and regulatory requirements Ensure all loan files meet internal quality standards and external regulatory compliance before closing Manage communication with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and guide them through the closing process Utilize Encompass or similar loan origination systems to track progress, prepare closing disclosures, and maintain detailed records Conduct final audits of loan packages to confirm adherence to mortgage servicing standards and credit analysis protocols Qualifications Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage servicing with a strong understanding of the closing process Knowledge of FNMA guidelines, fair housing regulations, TILA, TRID compliance, and industry-specific financial regulations Familiarity with mortgage products including FHA loans, VA loans, conventional mortgages, and industry best practices in lending Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes Experience with underwriting procedures, credit analysis, loan documentation review, and loan processing workflows Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately using basic math skills Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams and departments Demonstrated understanding of banking regulatory compliance related to mortgage services and financial transactions Join our team as a Closing Manager to lead our efforts in delivering smooth, compliant mortgage closings that exceed client expectations.
