In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end billing and collections processes, ensuring compliance with medical billing regulations, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and insurance third-party billing standards. You will assist in submitting insurance authorizations, appeals and following-up on appeals and claims to ensure payment in a timely manner. Your leadership will drive efficiency, accuracy, and revenue optimization across office revenue cycle management activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence financial health and operational excellence within a thriving healthcare organization. Duties Manage and oversee all aspects of the healthcare revenue cycle, including patient registration, medical billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, appeals and collections Ensure compliance with medical billing regulations, Medicare regulations, Medicaid regulations, and healthcare billing management standards Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize the use of revenue cycle management systems and billing software Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and implement strategies to accelerate cash flow and reduce denials Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to health insurance knowledge requirements and healthcare billing best practices Develop training programs on medical billing regulations compliance and updates in healthcare policies Experience Experience with revenue cycle management as it pertains to Interventional Radiology billing and coding. Proven experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare billing management roles Strong knowledge of medical billing regulations compliance, ICD coding, Medicare regulations, Medicaid regulations, and insurance third-party billing processes Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of billing professionals Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various billing software platforms Experience managing electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively, experience with E-Clinicalworks is preferred. In-depth understanding of healthcare insurance policies and reimbursement procedures Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and implement process improvements Join us to lead our revenue cycle operations with enthusiasm and precision!
