Full Job Description Overview:
Lundberg Jansen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated accounting professional with a desire to advance to a senior role in our accounting and finance team. Since 1976, Lundberg Jansen Technologies has been helping our customers meet process improvement, energy reduction, and environmental compliance requirements for a wide range of industrial processes. As accounting manager, you will become an integral part of the experienced team upon whom clients rely.

Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Chief Financial Officer to learn, develop and refine all financial aspects of this rapidly growing organization with an eye towards advancement to more senior responsibilities. Direct responsibility for processing client billings and accounts payable entry within the Deltek - Ajera accounting system. Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations and financial statement preparation. Assist in collecting past due client receivables. Support administrative staff in managing legacy Quickbase project management tool, including manual entry of financial data. Assist HR onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining finance related payroll data. Review payroll reports and enter data into Ajera. Assist procurement with purchase order tracking and ensuring timely payment of vendors. Work with the CFO to manage treasury and banking transactions, including cash flow reporting.
Skills & Abilities:
Self starter. Highly motivated with desire to learn and great attention to detail . Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely and professional manner. Interpersonal Skills—maintains confidentiality, remains open to new ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things Communications Skills - able to present communication in oral or written form clearly and to any level of the organization Quality control—demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality Strong desire to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment Strong time management skills, as well as the ability to meet aggressive deadlines and organize and prioritize multiple tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive accounting and finance roles. Supervisory experience preferred Bachelor's degree in economics, finance or accounting. CPA Preferred Familiarity with ERP systems and web-based accounting portals a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word. Compensation range is 110K to 160K.
