Job Description

Accounting Manager Greenlake Senior Living is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual that can interact well with staff and represent our firm at a high level. This person will have a good personality with great communication skills and an analytical mind. Due to the nature of our business, strong candidates must have a high attention to detail. The key responsibilities for the Accounting Manager will be:
Key Responsibilities:
    Accounts Payable & Compliance:
    Oversee and process Accounts Payable workflows, manage vendor onboarding compliance (W-9 tracking) as well as 1099 reporting.
      Variance Analysis:
      Review corporate and community financial performance against operational budgets; provide clear variance explanations to executive leadership.
      • Reconcile Credit Card / Pex Card statements.
      Financial Reporting & Close:
      Ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare monthly Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and supporting ledger reconciliations.
      • Provide support to the community Business Office Managers.
      . Provide support for the Interim CFO and CEO when required.
      Qualifications Education:
      Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
      Experience:
      5+ years of progressive accounting experience 5+ years in
      Accounts Payable and Receivable Skills & Competencies:
      Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Knowledge of Yardi accounting software and Microsoft Excel Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
      Software:
      ADP, Microsoft Office and Yardi a plus
