Job Description
Automotive Finance Manager / Backup Sales Manager Madison / Portage, Wisconsin Area A growing automotive dealership near Madison and Portage is looking for a strong, experienced Finance Manager / Backup Sales Manager to join our leadership team and help take our store to the next level.
PROVEN AUTOMOTIVE F&I EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
This is not an entry-level F&I position. We are looking for someone who knows how to produce, structure deals, work lenders, close customers and lead a sales floor. The right person understands that great F&I is about more than printing paperwork. You need to know how to put deals together, maximize gross, protect the dealership and create opportunities for the sales team. What You Need to Bring Proven automotive F&I experience Strong menu-selling and closing skills Ability to consistently maximize F&I gross and product penetration Strong knowledge of prime, subprime and challenged-credit financing Ability to structure difficult deals and find ways to get customers approved Strong understanding of LTV, advances, lender programs and deal structure Ability to work lender callbacks and negotiate for better approvals Experience working with banks, credit unions and subprime lenders Ability to desk deals, structure payments and evaluate trades Ability to step onto the sales floor and help salespeople close deals Strong understanding of compliance, contracts and clean funding Ability to coach, train and hold people accountable We Want a Leader We are looking for someone who will take ownership of the business. You should be comfortable moving between the finance office and the sales desk. When a deal gets difficult, we want you involved. When a salesperson needs help closing a customer, we want you involved. When there is an opportunity to increase gross or put another deal together, we expect you to find it. You must be competitive, organized and motivated by results.
