University of Alabama at Birmingham - 4.1 Birmingham, AL Job Details $17.95 - $18.49 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Description To provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit. To review requests and determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with established regulations. To assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies. To collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed. This position will primarily work with third-party vendors. Coding students' accounts, preparing invoices for submittal to vendors as well as coordinating with the UAB Veterans Affairs office. Other duties would include providing customer service via phone and email, analyzing students' accounts and other responsibilities as needed.
Salary Range:
$17.95 - $18.49 Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Prior experience in student accounting.
