This position offers the opportunity to handle automotive billing while developing or expanding your experience in finance funding and deal processing. We're interested in experienced automotive billers who are ready for more responsibility, as well as candidates who already have a background in dealership funding. Your responsibilities will reflect your experience, with the opportunity to grow into a larger funding role based on performance and qualifications. About the Position You'll work closely with our accounting office, finance managers, and lenders to ensure vehicle transactions are accurate, complete, and processed promptly. We need someone who can catch errors, follow up on outstanding items, and take ownership of getting deals completed. Billing & Deal Processing Responsibilities Review retail, lease, and wholesale deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness. Accurately bill and post vehicle transactions in the dealership management system. Verify selling figures, taxes, fees, trade information, payoff information, and supporting documents. Identify missing signatures, paperwork discrepancies, and other issues before processing. Coordinate with the appropriate departments to resolve errors and obtain missing items. Maintain organized deal records and assist with related accounting and reconciliation tasks. Finance Funding Responsibilities Review finance contracts and supporting documents for lender requirements. Prepare and submit complete funding packages through the appropriate lender channels. Monitor contracts awaiting funding and maintain an accurate list of outstanding items. Follow up with finance managers and lenders to resolve funding delays. Help obtain missing stipulations, signatures, and corrected documents. Keep management informed of aging contracts and issues requiring attention. Handle customer and financial information with discretion. What We're Looking For Previous automotive billing, dealership accounting, or finance funding experience preferred. Familiarity with dealership paperwork and dealership management systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize inconsistencies. Excellent organization and the ability to prioritize multiple deals and deadlines. Professional communication skills and consistent follow-through.
