Education Requirements Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred. Accounting certification or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting practices. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of administrative or accounting experience in a professional office environment. Experience reconciling accounts, banking transactions, and financial records. Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including data analysis and reporting. Experience supporting customer accounts, financial inquiries, and transaction processing. Familiarity with CRM systems and case management tools preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting franchise, multi-location, retail, or service-based business operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide effective resolutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to customer service. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Physical Capabilities Ability to work in an office environment and remain seated for extended periods. Frequent use of computers, calculators, and standard office equipment. Ability to review detailed financial records and reports with a high degree of accuracy. Capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties Review and support weekly account statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly. Process financial transactions, including payments, credits, adjustments, and account updates. Reconcile bank transactions, accounting records, and financial ledgers. Respond to accounting-related inquiries from customers and internal departments, providing timely support and guidance. Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and open cases within the CRM system. Assist with transaction research, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Support the development and maintenance of accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational, compliance, and financial objectives. Monitor performance metrics and contribute to departmental goals and service excellence.
