Position Summary JMA Pediatrics is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting & Finance Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of our pediatric practice. This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for accounts payable, payroll processing, banking activities, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting support, and other accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and bookkeeping experience, excellent analytical skills, advanced Excel knowledge, QuickBooks experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or financial administration experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience processing payroll and maintaining payroll records. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently. Technical Skills Proficiency with QuickBooks Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems Preferred Healthcare or medical practice accounting and finance experience. Experience supporting Human Resources administration. Familiarity with benefits administration and retirement plans.
