Job Description

Overview The Intern will learn how fundamentally driven equity research is conducted, along with techniques in data analytics. Students will work on quantitative research tasks such as back testing, regression analysis, and factor analysis, acquiring a deeper understanding of investment strategies and financial modeling + Manage and compile data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely daily processing. + Update, generate, and distribute daily reports for the Equity team. + Utilize investment tools like Bloomberg and FactSet to develop and refine investment screens and portfolio monitoring views. + Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve existing tools using programming languages like Python. + Automate workflows and develop new tools using Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, and Access. + Assist in back testing and evaluating investment strategies using quantitative methods. + Provide support in fundamental equity analysis, presentations, and portfolio reporting as needed. Qualifications + Strong analytical skills and an interest in quantitative finance and data analytics. + Experience with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) is a plus. + Proficiency in SQL and Python or similar programming languages. + Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office. + Quick learner with excellent teamwork and communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment. +
