Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to support a publicly traded client in Northern Virginia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a finance specialist who brings deep expertise in external reporting, public company filings, and the preparation of accurate annual disclosures. The role focuses on delivering high-quality financial statements, coordinating reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial reports and disclosures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with reporting standards.
  • Manage SEC filing activities, including the development of required statements, supporting schedules, and related narrative disclosures.
  • Oversee earnings-per-share calculations and validate supporting data used in external financial reporting.
  • Coordinate the annual reporting process, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is prepared to a high standard.
  • Utilize Workiva to organize, update, and maintain reporting documentation and filing workflows.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and client leadership to resolve reporting issues, streamline deliverables, and support regulatory compliance.
