Job Description
Manage residential loan applications through internal portfolio deals and walk-in customers. Interact with customers and the public in a manner that will enhance marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary customer service to customers while learning the bank's products, services, and customer service standards through on-the-job training. Conduct customer interviews and gather financial information for loan applications. Analyze information and make recommendations under the guidance of experienced lending staff. Assist with preparing loan requests and explaining available lending options to customers. Support the loan process while learning loan structure, pricing, and underwriting requirements. Provide customers with general information regarding financial products and services while developing knowledge of lending and personal finance concepts through training. Participate in community and networking events, with guidance from management, to increase the bank's visibility and support business development efforts. Maintain a professional image and uphold the public reputation of the bank by adhering to company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations. Complete required training and professional development activities to build knowledge of mortgage lending, regulatory requirements, and bank products. Collaborate with experienced team members and seek guidance when handling unfamiliar or complex customer situations to ensure accurate and compliant service delivery.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 1 year customer service experience required. Willingness to complete on-the-job training and develop knowledge of mortgage lending products, regulations, and banking procedures.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous mortgage, sales, banking, financial services, or administrative experience preferredBenefits
