Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Services Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in, and a passion for, helping our members achieve their financial goals. The Financial Services Representative will provide member support and develop member relationships primarily through in-branch channels. This person must be flexible, able to handle multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, and love working with members and numbers while supporting a focus on needs-based sales.Responsibilities:
Perform outreach and serve members in support of growth and service objectives. Perform teller transactions, when needed. Accept loan applications. Resolve member issues in a professional and efficient manner. Build rapport and use active listening skills to identify members' needs and cross-selling opportunities. Look for and present opportunities for relationship growth to members with every interaction. Investigate and reconcile members' questions and inquiries with regard to their accounts/services; communicate with the appropriate departments to ensure resolution and member satisfaction. Screen, interview and counsel prospective borrowers, including explaining loan options; assist in completing loan documentation; verify and complete appropriate credit checks and prepare loan closing documentation.Skills:
- Proficiency in performing monetary transaction and working with members on investment and lending products.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship management.
- Knowledge of credit union/banking operations and experience in the industry required.
- Strong sales acumen in promoting financial products.
- NMLS registration required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00- $25.
