We're currently seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Assistant for a full-time position. In this role, you will work closely with our Owners and Producers to effectively manage workers compensation claims as they progress through the claim life cycle.

Job Summary:

The Workers Compensation Claims Assistant plays a crucial role in our organization, ensuring smooth claims processing and client satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone with one to three years of experience in workers compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and distribute daily claims mail Report workers compensation claims to carriers Follow up on daily activities, including obtaining claim status from carriers Forward information to carriers and clients Enter and maintain claim activity in our agency management system Review new claims and assist in determining the course of action Obtain all reports pertaining to each claim in a timely manner Monitor claims and periodically report status to clients

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of workers compensation claims experience High energy level Exceptional multitasking abilities Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy A drive for continuous skills improvement Service-oriented personality Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
