Job Description

We are looking for a detail-focused Warranty Adminstrator to support warranty operations for a truck and automotive environment in Des Plaines, Illinois. This Contract position is ideal for someone with prior dealership experience who understands warranty coding, claim review, and repair order accuracy. The person in this role will work closely with service teams and internal partners to help ensure timely submissions, proper documentation, and complete claim recovery. Candidates with working knowledge of truck systems, automotive parts, and vendor warranty processes will be especially well suited for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Analyze warranty claims for applicability and compliance with contractual agreements.

Edit, code, and close warranty jobs according to company policies.

Submit warranty claims in the appropriate claims system.

Review and follow up on short-paid claims to secure full payment.

Coordinate with the Service Department for accurate coding terminology.

Maintain oversight of open claims, including past-due resolution.

Communicate with other locations to clarify warranty processes and policies.

Perform general office duties such as filing and document organization.

Prepare and close repair orders, ensuring timely billing and claim submissions.

Provide clear explanations of warranty coverages to employees and customers
