JOB TITLE

Workers Compensation Coordinator AREA :
Arcis Healthcare Business Office (and Satellite locations as needed)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
: Under general direction, ensures timely processing of incoming workers' compensation referrals, obtaining authorizations for upcoming appointments, procedures and/or surgeries; evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation; completes 14B forms, FCE and work statuses to employers; ensures that the practice is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; provides training and guidance to claims coordinators as needed.

: Business Office Manager
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP
: None
EDUCATION
: High school diploma or GED required
EXPERIENCE
: Requires knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college with courses in medical terminology or anatomy and one to two (1-2) years' experience in medical claims analysis or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
