Diligent Delivery Systems has an immediate opening for a Claims Administrator Houston, TX. The Claims Administrator will manage the processing of claims filed by customers. Must possess a strong understanding of logistics systems and processes along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Job requires the ability to take initiative and work independently.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(The below-listed duties are not all-inclusive. This position must also perform other duties as assigned.): Gather all the proper documents needed to process the claim Communicate with customers when needed to ensure the proper documentation is obtained to process the claim Process customer claims to ensure timely payment where necessary Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues Develop and maintain relationships with customers Update and maintain claims software Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement appropriate solutions. Answer questions from clients regarding claims denials or approvals Daily communications with customers on relevant issues and resolution Handle driver deductions and reimbursements where necessary Utilize software to track shipments Must have high attention to detail and consistently follow up on issues shippers may have Must communicate with Independent Contractor delivery drivers regarding potential deductions to their settlement payments Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Monitor and ensure resolution of all claims filed within a specified time Any additional duties and/or projects as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Supply Chain experience or a related field preferred Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in claims processing, logistics or supply chain management Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and communication skills Able to work independently and take initiative Knowledge of logistics systems and processes Ability to learn new software as required by customers or management Understanding of claims processing and general logistics
