Job Overview Herschensohn Law PLLC is an established, midsize Plaintiff personal injury firm, seeking to add a skilled Case Negotiator to its growing team. The Case Negotiator is responsible for taking approved demands through to resolution — negotiating directly with insurance adjusters to settle claims, obtaining client settlement authority, and closing out the claim. The position will require oversight of personal injury claims throughout the treating phase, the demand preparation process, including review of demand letters, and from negotiation to settlement. A qualified candidate will have familiarity with Filevine or a similar case management system and will have experience with pre-litigation case management and claims resolution. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and with others to meet shared goals. The ability to clearly communicate is necessary, as conveying offers to both adjusters and clients is a primary job function. Strong organizational and prioritization skills will greatly benefit you in file maintenance and case handling tasks. Empathy is necessary to uphold our client-centric values. Office location to be determined based on candidate location and preference, as agreed to by candidate and firm prior to hire. Starting wage is based on years of experience, with salary range of $33.50/hr.-$48/hr. ($70,000-$100,000 annually), plus bonuses. Annual bonuses will be based on the fee generation of the pre-litigation team.
