Job Description

Commercial Lines Account ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial insurance experience, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

Position OverviewThe Commercial Lines Account Manager will support both renewal and new business accounts while serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working with carriers, underwriters, general agencies, and online rating platforms.

ResponsibilitiesSupport renewal and new business accounts.

Serve as a professional and knowledgeable point of contact for client inquiries.

Quote and market commercial insurance accounts using online raters, underwriters, and general agencies.

Communicate promptly and accurately with clients and insurance partners.

Prepare coverage summaries, proposals, applications, ACORD forms, certificates, and other insurance documentation.

Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth workflows and excellent client service.

Maintain accurate account records and follow up on outstanding items.

Assist clients with their commercial insurance needs and provide timely support throughout the policy lifecycle.

Requirements4+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.

Valid Property & Casualty (P&C) License.

Experience marketing commercial insurance coverages with underwriters, general agencies, and online raters.

Familiarity with BOP/GL, Workers' Compensation, D&O, E&O, and related commercial insurance lines.

Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to build strong professional relationships with clients.

Strong organizational and computer skills.

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.

Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.

Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is an experienced commercial insurance professional who enjoys working directly with clients, understands commercial lines coverage, and can manage multiple accounts while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
