Job Overview Join the Vache Soghomonian Agency, a Farmers Insurance agency located in Simi Valley, as an Insurance Sales Producer. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers protect what matters most. You will work with prospective and existing customers to identify their insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. We are looking for someone who is comfortable speaking with customers, following up consistently, and working toward individual and team sales goals. Previous insurance experience is helpful, but candidates with strong sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or relationship-building experience are encouraged to apply. This role offers paid training, ongoing coaching, commission opportunities, and the ability to build a long-term career in insurance sales.
Salary Range:

Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain a California Property and Casualty insurance license within 30 days of hire. Life and Health insurance license is a plus. Previous experience in insurance, sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, telemarketing, or a related field is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, text, email, and in person. Ability to build rapport and create relationships from a cold start. Strong listening, presentation, and negotiation skills. Motivated by goals, performance incentives, and commission opportunities. Positive, enthusiastic, dependable, and professional attitude. Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continually improve. Ability to handle objections and confidently ask for the sale. Strong organizational, multitasking, follow-through, and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn agency software and customer relationship management systems. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities Contact prospective customers through phone calls, internet leads, referrals, networking, and agency marketing activities. Build professional relationships with prospective and existing customers. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options. Quote and sell auto, home, renters, umbrella, life, and other available insurance products. Cross-sell additional products to help customers address coverage gaps. Explain coverage options, deductibles, limits, discounts, and policy features clearly. Follow up consistently with prospective customers throughout the sales process. Respond to customer questions in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate notes, activities, sales opportunities, and follow-up tasks in the agency's customer relationship management system. Meet individual activity, quote, premium, and policy sales goals. Participate in agency sales meetings, training, coaching, and role-playing activities. Ask for referrals and help develop new business opportunities. Stay informed about available insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and agency sales processes. Provide a professional, positive, and customer-focused experience.
