Responsibilities:
Manage a generalist commercial lines book of business, including accounts with premiums of up to $500,000. Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing responsive and knowledgeable service. Coordinate policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and other account activity. Review client coverage needs and support the development of appropriate insurance solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal agency partners. Monitor account details, documentation, and deadlines to ensure accurate and timely service. Support retention and growth by identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and coverage programs.
Must-Have Skills:
Active Property & Casualty insurance license. Experience managing a generalist commercial lines book of business. Demonstrated experience handling large commercial accounts with premiums of up to $500,000. Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance products and processes. Excellent client service, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience working in an independent insurance agency environment. Knowledge of commercial account renewal and marketing processes. Strong carrier relationship management skills. Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office technology. Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
