Job Description
American Financial Solutions LLC is looking for a motivated Part-Time Insurance Agent to join our Waterbury office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get into the insurance industry , already has insurance experience, or has been away from the business and is looking to get back into the field . The position will involve assisting customers with auto, homeowners, landlord, business and life insurance , preparing quotes, servicing existing clients, following up with prospects, reviewing coverage needs and helping develop new business. A Connecticut Property & Casualty and/or Life Insurance license is preferred , but we are willing to consider the right person who is interested in learning the business and working toward becoming licensed. Our office also provides income tax preparation services . For someone interested in learning tax preparation, there is an opportunity to receive training, take on additional responsibilities and work additional seasonal hours during tax season . We are looking for someone who is: Friendly and comfortable working with customers Dependable and organized Motivated to learn and grow Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Interested in insurance, sales and customer service Looking for a flexible, long-term part-time opportunity Insurance experience is a plus, but attitude, dependability and willingness to learn are equally important.
