$3,000/month + Commission About the Role Tay Friederich Agency is building a small, driven team focused on doing insurance the right way: taking care of people, working hard, being honest, and following through. We are looking for someone who is confident talking to people, motivated by goals, dependable, coachable, and comfortable working in a sales environment. Insurance experience is not required . The right personality, work ethic, communication skills, and willingness to learn matter more to us than having previous insurance experience. This is not a position where you simply wait for the phone to ring. You will actively contact prospective customers, follow up with leads, build relationships, identify insurance needs, prepare quotes, and ask for the sale. What You'll Do Contact prospective customers by phone, text, and email Follow up consistently with leads and quoted prospects Build relationships and learn what matters to each customer Quote and sell auto, home, renters, and other insurance products Explain coverage clearly rather than simply competing on price Identify opportunities to better protect customers Ask confidently for the sale Maintain organized and accurate customer records Work toward individual and agency sales goals Participate actively in training, coaching, and role-play Continue learning products, systems, and sales techniques Treat customers and coworkers with honesty and respect Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Are dependable and show up ready to work Are comfortable starting conversations with strangers Communicate confidently and professionally Have a strong work ethic without needing constant supervision Are competitive and motivated by measurable goals Can hear "no" and make the next call without becoming discouraged Take feedback well and actually apply it Are willing to practice and improve Follow through when you say you're going to do something Care about doing what's right for the customer, even when it doesn't result in an immediate sale Want to help build a growing agency rather than simply fill a position Previous experience in sales, real estate, customer service, hospitality, retail, phone sales, or other relationship-based roles is a plus, but not required. Licensing A Property & Casualty insurance license is required to sell insurance. Already licensed? Great. Not licensed? You may still apply. Candidates must be willing and able to complete the required licensing process before performing licensed insurance sales activities. Licensing requirements and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Compensation $3,000 monthly base salary Additional commission based on sales production Opportunity to increase earnings through performance Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule Office closed on designated bank holidays This position does not currently include health insurance, retirement, or other traditional employee benefit plans. Our Culture We are a small agency, which means every person matters. We're looking for people who want to be part of building something—not people who simply want to clock in and clock out.
Our expectations are simple:
Be dependable. Be honest. Work hard. Be coachable. Treat people right. Take ownership. You don't have to know everything on day one. You do have to be willing to learn, accept coaching, put in the effort, and keep improving. If you are motivated by growth, enjoy talking to people, and want your performance to directly impact your income and the success of the team, we'd like to meet you. Application Questions Please answer the following when applying: 1. This position involves making a high volume of outbound calls and following up with people who may not answer the first several times. How comfortable are you with that type of work? 2. Tell us about a time you had to stay productive when nobody was closely supervising you. 3. You have made several calls without getting a sale and are becoming frustrated. What do you do next? 4. A customer is ready to purchase, but you realize another option would better protect them even though it may make the sale harder to close. How would you handle it? 5. Tell us about a time a manager or coach gave you feedback you didn't necessarily agree with. What did you do with it? 6.
What motivates you more:
a guaranteed paycheck, earning more based on your performance, recognition, helping customers, career growth, or something else? Explain. 7. Are you currently licensed to sell Property & Casualty insurance? If not, are you willing to complete the licensing process required for this position? 8. Why does this particular position interest you?
