Commercial Lines Account Manager $90,000-$120,000 We're working with a growing, privately held insurance organization that is expanding its presence throughout the Northeast and is looking to add an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with large, complex commercial accounts , building strong client relationships, and taking ownership of the day-to-day management of sophisticated insurance programs. You'll work directly with clients and key decision-makers while partnering closely with producers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to make sure accounts are handled thoughtfully and efficiently from renewal through ongoing servicing. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and serve as a trusted insurance resource. Manage a portfolio of large and complex Commercial Lines accounts while serving as a primary point of contact. Review client exposures, coverage, limits, deductibles, and overall program structure and make recommendations when appropriate. Prepare new business and renewal applications and coordinate thorough marketing submissions. Develop client proposals, renewal presentations, and coverage comparisons. Oversee day-to-day account servicing, including endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), invoices, policy changes, and other transactions. Work closely with carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms, secure competitive coverage, and resolve account issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and key markets. Participate in client renewal meetings and contribute to renewal strategy and presentations. Coordinate with producers, clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure account strategies are executed smoothly. Look for opportunities to identify coverage gaps, improve service, and add value to the overall client relationship. Qualifications 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience. Experience managing large, complex commercial accounts. Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty coverages, markets, and policy structures. Comfortable working directly with sophisticated clients and key decision-makers. Solid understanding of the commercial insurance renewal and marketing process. Active Property & Casualty insurance license. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills. Ability to manage multiple complex accounts and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client service. Collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills.
