Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Fresno, CA. This role is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, supporting producers, coordinating with carriers, and managing the details required to place and service commercial property and casualty accounts. The Account Manager will play a key role in both service and marketing activities, including renewals, submissions, applications, quotes, policy reviews, certificates, endorsements, and client communication. Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial lines client accounts, renewals, submissions, applications, policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and related service requests.
- Support producers by preparing accurate client information, applications, proposals, summaries of insurance, and carrier submissions for new and renewal business.
- Work with carriers to order loss runs, MVRs, quotes, renewals, endorsements, and coverage documents while negotiating pricing and reviewing terms.
- Review policies, quotes, applications, and coverage documents for accuracy, adequacy, compliance, exclusions, and potential gaps in coverage.
- Maintain accurate account data, producer codes, suspense items, carrier files, marketing files, activity reports, and client records within AMS.
- Communicate professionally with clients, agents, underwriters, carriers, and internal team members by phone, email, and in person as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $50,000 to $75,000 per year.

Location:
Fresno, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Manage commercial lines account servicing, renewals, endorsements, certificates, invoices, and policy delivery.
- Prepare and update carrier submissions, applications, proposals, premium finance agreements, and renewal materials.
- Review coverage documents for accuracy, gaps, exclusions, and alignment with client needs.
- Maintain AMS data integrity, suspense items, producer codes, client files, and carrier records.
- 3 to 5 years of related insurance account management, commercial lines, or insurance servicing experience preferred.
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance License, or applicable insurance license, required for candidates who transact insurance.
- College degree, related insurance experience, insurance training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with AMS, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to read, interpret, and discuss insurance policies, coverage forms, applications, and carrier documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional emails, correspondence, proposals, and client-facing documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, producers, underwriters, carriers, managers, and internal team members.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple deadlines and account priorities.
- Ability to apply sound judgment, problem-solve, and handle standardized insurance service and marketing processes accurately. Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage experience.
- Experience rating online with assigned carriers and negotiating commercial lines pricing.
- Familiarity with carrier appetites, underwriting preferences, renewal workflows, and marketing submissions.
- Experience with premium finance agreements, bonds, certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, and loss run tracking.
- Participation in insurance seminars, continuing education, or professional development related to commercial insurance.
