I. BASIC FUNCTION
The Barge Asset Management Systems and Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the systems, data, and logistics capabilities that support day-to-day asset management across boats and barges. This role owns the department's use of Sinex as the primary asset management platform and drives the processes, data standards, and coordination practices needed to make it the single source of truth for asset management needs. The position leads the Asset Management Coordinators, resolves cross-functional issues, implements scalable improvements, and connects system capabilities with operational execution.
II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES A.
Coordinate Asset Management Logistics Lead logistics and coordination processes that connect maintenance needs, asset information, schedules, locations, and operating stakeholders. Standardize work practices across the fleet while allowing for justified operational differences between asset classes and regions. Identify handoff gaps, constraints, and competing priorities that affect asset management execution and drive timely resolution. Provide regular updates to department leadership on risks, priorities, improvement progress, and resource needs. B. Own, refine, and develop Asset Management Systems Serve as the department owner for Sinex within Asset Management, including integration, workflow, user needs, issue prioritization, and continuous improvement. Monitor system performance and user feedback, resolve recurring issues, and escalate technical issues through the appropriate support channels. Translate operational requirements into practical system configurations, reports, dashboards, and process improvements. Promote disciplined system use and clear data ownership across Asset Management. Establish and maintain standards for asset data quality, completeness, consistency, and timely entry across boats and barges. C. Lead and Manage Asset Management Coordinators to support day-to-day maintenance logistics for CBC assets Maintain and establish clear expectations, workload priorities, and performance measures for the Asset Management Coordinator team Ensure coordinators have clear escalation paths and the information needed to support field and office teams. Create training materials and cross-training opportunities that reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
III. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, marine operations, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset management, maintenance systems, logistics, operations, or related discipline. Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience, including responsibility for priorities, performance, and cross-functional delivery. Marine asset experience, Sinex experience, and experience integrating acquired assets or teams into common systems are preferred.

V. KEY OUTCOMES & MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Clear ownership of Sinex across Asset Management; with aligned SOPs, standardized workflows and continuous system improvement. Improved process efficiency, data accuracy and usable reporting for maintenance decisions, budgets, and capital planning. Increased visibility into asset condition, maintenance activity and fleet performance. Effective day-to-day leadership of Asset Management Coordinators and system logistics. Scalable systems, processes and team capability that support fleet and department growth.
