An Investment Fund Manager plans, directs, or coordinates investment strategy or operations for a large pool of liquid assets supplied by institutional investors or individual investors.
The incumbent supervises the Inventory Control team and works with the team to periodically review current systems and methods, examine techniques in use and determine appropriate changes to drive improvements, reduce costs, and/or enhance efficiency in pursuit of organizational and district goals. Manages a team of professionals to develop, plan and implement the overall strategic objectives of the organization's Inventory Control, and IT Asset Management which include vision, development, implementation, business continuity and disaster planning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions. An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation: Under limited supervision, provides day to day management of physical Inventory Control ensuring that appropriate project management standards and IT governance processes are utilized and reported for all implementation efforts.
Fosters and cultivates teamwork as well as cross-team and cross-department collaboration and communication at all levels, both within Technology and throughout the organization as a whole for the betterment of district goals.
Develops the overall strategy for Inventory Control components, which include vision, development, implementation, support, troubleshooting, along with vendor oversight and maintenance with a focus on business/instructional integration and resiliency.
Responsible for oversight and configuration of the Inventory Control systems, including configuration and monitoring to ensure proper maintenance of all systems.
Ensures that appropriate project management standards and IT governance processes are utilized and reported for all implementation efforts.
Highly technical resource in the field, with extensive experience in configuring, installing, monitoring, and supporting technology.
Creates and provides detailed written documentation on all systems and support processes.
Manages staff by determining priorities and workloads, determines schedules, monitors and evaluates staff and makes hiring and termination recommendations; performs ongoing performance management as required.
Collaborate with the Inventory Control Specialist to reduce the number of missing, lost or stolen devices. Oversees the APS cellular service technician and provides supportive leadership to resolve cellphone questions, annual billing and support the online ordering, shipping, and distribution process.
Works with the various Technology and District Departments on joint projects.
Establishes and documents a thorough IT Asset Management process in alignment with industry best practices.
Establish a robust set of key performance indicators and tracking reports that provide a clear view of the performance of the team and drive improvements in service and operations.
Supports all APS staff, traditional APS schools and APS authorized charter schools.
Proactively participate in Change Management and the Change Advisory Board as needed.
Makes projections and estimates of materials and equipment needed.
Understanding of hardware life cycles and the ability to adjust based on Technology changes.
Manages warehouse staff and operations across multiple physical locations.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Experience. Associates degree or Certificate in Information Technology, Business or related field and six years direct inventory control experience; OR
High School Diploma or GED and Ten (10) years direct inventory control experience of which two years were in managing a team.
