• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers to attract and retain profitable business.
• Conduct visits with producers and principals to retain existing accounts, build and maintain business relationships, and develop new opportunities in support of divisional objectives.
• Create new business opportunities with existing agency base by obtaining new agents and developing new programs.
• Conduct investigations of new and existing accounts.
• Assess risk quality and compliance within company guidelines and initiate appropriate loss prevention actions as necessary.
• Make risk selection and rejection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability decisions.
• Ensure business is priced in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ensure reports are available, accessed, and appropriately used for rating and underwriting processes.
• Compile statistics and reports on service levels, activity, and customer experience.
• Identify and recommend appropriate changes to processes and procedures to increase customer satisfaction.
• Administer, apply, and update underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations.
