Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Title Escrow Post-Closing Assistant to support our title and escrow operations. This position is responsible for assisting with post-closing processes, accounting review, document recording, disbursements, file maintenance, and communication with lenders, agents, clients, and other parties involved in real estate transactions. Job Responsibilities Verify and input wire instructions accurately and in accordance with company procedures. Confirm that accounting records are balanced before disbursement. Prepare and process check and wire disbursements. Verify mailing addresses and required signatures prior to mailing checks. Use postage websites and postage equipment to prepare outgoing mail. Maintain an accurate and organized mail log. Record mortgages, deeds, and related documents through online recording platforms. Email and/or mail recorded documents, title policies, and other completed transaction documents. Scan, organize, and file completed transaction files. Respond professionally to post-closing questions from lenders, real estate agents, clients, and other transaction parties. This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. The successful candidate may also be asked to assist with closing preparation, post-closing accounting, banking, and other administrative support duties as needed. Required Qualifications Full-time availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ability to learn, retain, and apply information quickly. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong, clear, and professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and general website navigation. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including a multi-line phone system, printer, copier, scanner, fax machine, and postage printer. Preferred Experience Previous experience in real estate, title abstracting, title escrow, post-closing, or a similar professional office setting. Experience using Qualia, Simplifile, Ingrecords, county probate websites, online banking platforms, Stamps.com, or similar systems.
