Role Description The Licensed Loan Officer role is a full-time, remote position based in AZ. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding applicants through the loan process from initial inquiry to closing, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. The Loan Officer will consult with borrowers to understand their financial goals, present appropriate loan options, and explain terms in a clear, compliant manner. Daily activities include evaluating borrower qualifications, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, monitoring loan pipelines, and maintaining detailed records within company systems. The role also involves delivering responsive customer service, building strong relationships with clients and referral partners, and adhering to all federal, state, and company lending regulations. Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a Licensed Loan Officer with strong knowledge of mortgage products, loan programs, and lending regulations. Solid foundation in Finance, including income analysis, credit evaluation, and debt-to-income calculations. Familiarity with Underwriting principles and the ability to work collaboratively with underwriting teams to resolve conditions. Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on clear communication, borrower education, and relationship building. Hands-on experience in Loan Origination, including prospecting, application intake, and pipeline management. Active mortgage loan originator license (NMLS) in good standing and eligibility to originate loans in Arizona. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with mortgage technology platforms and digital tools to support efficient, compliant lending processes. High ethical standards, commitment to regulatory compliance, and alignment with Equal Housing Opportunity practices.

Previous experience in a retail mortgage environment or with a technology-forward lender.
