Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Escrow Officer/Manager to lead our escrow operations with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the escrow team to ensure efficient processing of mortgage transactions, including conventional, FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs), and FNMA (Fannie Mae) loans. Oversee all aspects of loan documentation, from initial application through closing, ensuring adherence to TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) requirements and other federal, state, and local regulations. Manage loan origination processes, including credit analysis, underwriting support, and compliance with loan regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and fair housing laws. Ensure all escrow procedures comply with banking regulatory standards and internal policies related to mortgage servicing and loan processing. Maintain clear communication with clients, loan officers, underwriters, and internal departments to facilitate smooth transaction flow and resolve any issues promptly. Conduct thorough reviews of loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards before closing. Utilize Encompass or similar mortgage software platforms to streamline processes and maintain detailed records of all escrow activities. Qualifications Extensive experience in escrow management or senior escrow officer roles within the financial services or mortgage industry. Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, FHA/VA loans, conventional mortgages, and related federal housing regulations. Proven ability to handle complex loan origination, underwriting support, and loan documentation processes efficiently. Familiarity with mortgage servicing operations, credit analysis techniques, and compliance with TILA, TRID, Fair Housing regulations, and other lending laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for reporting and communication purposes. Experience working with Encompass or comparable mortgage origination systems is highly desirable. Excellent internal communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach to client interactions. Basic math skills necessary for accurate financial calculations related to loans and escrow accounts. Industry knowledge of financial regulations governing banking and lending practices is essential for success in this role.
