Contract Job Description:
Prepares the HUD disclosing title/settlement fees, taxes and payoffs for closing cost at the onset and sends to processor. May include a mock CD as well. Under general supervision and direction of Escrow Officer/Lead reviews title commitment to verify vesting and legal description. Work on the drawing of the loan documents, which includes all escrow/settlement instructions payoffs, deeds, to be signed and orders scheduling of notary and or Attorney in applicable States. Review of documents back fully executed from the notary when needed including the uploading of the scanned package to the software program. Reviews recording documents to be sent out insuring all originals are included with required affidavits, death certs and any other documents. May assist escrow officer/lead on audit of final numbers and verification of all demands, liens still valid and not expired, wire instructions completed for any funds being sent. Tracks the lender funding the loan to insure the monies are deposited and ready to disburse. Works with the Audit/Disbursing Department to insure the file is disbursed. Notification sent to the client that the funds have been disbursed. Follow up on releases and final policy to be sent to the client either Fed Ex or electronically submitted. Orders any doc prep deeds to be executed at closing. Works with loan processors, loan officers and the principals in the transaction to obtain additional information as needed and to keep updated as to status. Consults with title officers and/or escrow officer in the event there are questions concerning items on title commitment. Orders beneficiary statements, demands, HOA, judgments including but not limited to release of liens and encumbrances. 1-3 years exp

$26.06 - $29.00 per hour
