Job Summary:
The Senior Business Lending Relationship manager drives new business growth through proactive prospecting and relationship development, originating commercial real estate and business loans to meet member and organizational goals. Delivers tailored financing solutions aligned with member needs. Structures and underwrites loans by gathering and analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk, and recommending appropriate loan terms. Manages an ongoing portfolio of member business loans, with accountability for portfolio quality, profitability, and performance. Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in business development, including cultivating new relationships and expanding existing commercial portfolios Ability to achieve production expectations through proactive sourcing efforts Strong financial and credit analysis skills, including the ability to analyze tax returns, financial statements, and cash flow Experience structuring and underwriting commercial real estate and business loans, including lines of credit and term financing Ability to manage complex lending relationships and maintain a high-performing portfolio Knowledge of commercial lending practices, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making Commitment to staying informed on industry trends and market conditions that impact commercial lending
Education/Experience:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field and five to eight years of progressive commercial lending or related experience with a financial institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
